(Hartford) Up at 7.50. Bright day. Wrote again on sermon in morning. Downtown with Johnny. Called at Talcott & Post's. Mr. Gage, etc. At 1.37pm Mr. Albert Woodruff & Rev. N. Weiss came from New York. They dined at house. Rode with them about town. Looked in at State Teacher's Assoc'n meeting at High School. Wrote again on sermon at Father's. On evening downtown to Center Church to attend meeting on behalf of Foreign S.S. work. Mr. Fliedner of Spain attend with us and at meeting, with Woodruff & Weiss. All off by 9.40 train for New Haven. Wrote again on sermon. Retired at 11.15.
