(Mystic, CT) Up at 4.45. Early breakfast with Mr. Clift. Off at 6 for New London. Dr. Wentworth & George Palmer on cars. At New London bought black fish. Off at 7.15 for Saybrook and Hartford. Home about 10. Father quite weak. Wrote Independent items on cars and at house. Wrote letters. Napped it right after dinner awhile. Out in evening at Asylum Hill Church S.S. room to hear Miss Morris on Infant Class Work. Pleasant meeting. Showery evening. At Mr. Fressenden's in afternoond discussing water question. Susie Gallaudet called. Retired at 10.
