(Hartford) Up at 7.15. Arranged papers in library. Downtown at Brown & Gross'. Had hair cut. Downtown after dinner. Bought set of dessert plates for May Gray. Off at 4.50 train for Springfield to attend May Gray's wedding. Stopped at Massasoit House. Down to Mr. Merriam's to wedding. Pleasant gathering there. May Bacon present. Retired at hotel, at 10.30. Wakeful, restless night.
