(Eastern Point) Up at 6.45. Lively time driving out flies. Off to New London by 9.55 boat. Off for Hartford at 11.15. Wrote up diary. Wrote on article on Reviews for "Advance". At Hartford about 2.30. All well at Father's. Called at Mr. Fessenden's. Ned Gallaudet had come and gone to Vermont. Sent off Concert Exercise with letter to Rice. Wrote at house in evening. John B. Smith called on his way to New York. Retired, at Father's about 10.30.
