(Hartford) Up at 7.50. Bright and beautiful day. Sophy off for Tower with Yale students. Man came to tune piano. Off at 9.37 for Springfield. $500 from Mr. Morrison. Johnny arrange to go to South Norwalk. At Springfield called at Holland's. Visited new chapel and S.S. room of First Church. Called on Mr. Morrison. Off at 12.15 for East Hampton. Wrote on Independent copy. Called on Willy Denison, and with hom on Mrs. Knight and Dr. Henshaw. Wrote up diary. Off for home at 4.20. Supped at Massasoit. Home about 7.30. Johnn off to meed Densmore. Called at Father's. Retired at 10.30.
