(Hartford) Up at 8.45. Wrote further on National Teacher article. Wrote at Father's much of forenoon. Downtown with Johnny. Talked with Thos. Gill. Read article to Johnny. Wrote again at Father's. Out to Camps with Johnny. Wrote letters. Off to Talcotville by 6.20 train. Met Mr & Miss Childs on cars. At Talcotville stopped at Mrs. Talcott's. In at prayer meeting. Faith the subject of discouse. Home with Mrs. Oriott. Mr. Oriott in poor health. Took glass of hot "composition" tea. Retired, with Johnny about 10. Very cold room and night.
