(New York) Up at 7.20. Raining hard. Breakfasted at Brunswick House. Called on Dr. Hull about Normal Manual. At M. E. S. S. rooms. Met Freeman there. At Wisewell's. Ordered curtains at Solomon's and rug at Sloane's. Bought magnet at Schermerhorn's. Called on Allen. Again at Wisewell's. Called on Smith at 80 E. 9th Street. At Prime's obtained pail of soup for Mother. Dined at Grand Union Hotel. Off at 3pm with Frank Allen for Hartford. Wrote up diary. At home about 7.15. After supper played ring-toss. Called at Father's. Retired about 11.45.
