(Talcottville) Up at 7. Cold morning. Cloudy. At Mr. Talcott's office and Mr. Oriatt's study, talking over Sunday sermon and its topics. Off for home about 10.30. Met Dr. Turnbull on cars. Had talk about relation of children to the church. Everett Spicer on cars. Invited him to dinner with us. Called at Father's on reaching Hartford. Played ring toss and frog squats. Wrote up diary. Snow storm in evening. Worked on pictures and frames for children's rooms. Sophy read Middlemarch. Retired at 11.30.
