(Eastern Point) Up at 6.20. Foggy morning. Soon cleared off bright. Off by 9.55 boat (Castle) for New London, with all hands for home. Wrote up diary. Called at post office, Dr. Sheffield's, S00000, Mr. Haven's. Off at 11.15 for Hartford via Saybrook. At Father's about 3. There at tea. Arranged papers and table and re-filled secretary in library room in afternoon. Down to Mr. Fessenden's and shopping in evening. Retired at 10.
