(Hartford) First snow of the season. Up at 7. Wrote on Independent copy. Called at Father's. Again sent for by him. Wrote letters and wrote up diary at his house. Took nap after dinner. James called. Wrote letters. Down to barber's and had hair cut. In evening went with Johnny to hear R. A. Proctor on Astronomy at Allyn Hall. Called at Father's returning. Retired at 10.45. Charley up and awak from 11 to 2.30.
