(Hartford) Up at 7.15. At Asylum Hill Church in forenoon. Mr. Twichell, back from his meeting, preached on the advantages and due of rest. Called at Father's. Walked to East Hartford with Johnny. Attended S.S. Concert. Heard interesting exercise in welcoming S.S. to Novr. from the new pastor. Walked back to house. In evening Johnny went out to prayer-meeting. Called at Father's with Alice. Retired at 10.
