(Eastern Point) Up at 7. Kept housed until after dinner writing copy of Review Exercise in Smith's home. Wrote letters. Johnny home about noon. Over to New London with him in latter part of afternoon. Did shopping there. Took supper at restaurant. Telegraphed Smith and Gurdon. Met Charles Woodbridge at telegraph office. Back to Capt. Spicer's by last boat. Retired about 9.45.
