(Norwich, Ct.) After night of noise up at 7. Bright day, but not too warm. Out with Fred. Met Rev. M. M. G. Dana, just off for Europe, also H. V. Edmund. Went to his office with him. Fred off on picnic. Off at 10.33 for New London. Wrote up diary in cars. On to Stonington at 12. Met Dr. Hyde. Home to dinner with him. Talked about minister for his church. Called at Billy Pendleton's. Rode to depot with Dr, calling at Uncle Frank's. Off for New London at 2. On to Willimantic by 2.45 train. Rode about Willimantic with former Rockville man. Home at 6.30. Wrote article for Advance on cars. Saw fireworks in evening. Talked with Mr. Chapman. Retired at 11.
