(New York) Up at 6.50. Out to Hoffman House and left bag. Called at Thomas Gallaudet's house and took breakfast. Thence to Westminster Hotel. Met Frank Allen. Sat with him and Mrs. Allen at their breakfast. Chatted in his room awhile. Down to Bible House. Met Tyler and went with him to see Mr. Monroe. Thence to Wallace Gallaudet's. Over to Brooklyn to Strong Pl. Church to attend wedding of Prof. Fray of Nat'l Deaf Mute College. Rev. H. W. Beecher performed the ceremony. Attended reception at Mr. Bradshaw's. Met most of Gallaudet family. Dined at A. Woodruff's. Over to N.Y. with Ned & Mr. Draper. Called at Tyler's office. Met Kingsbury. Attended Foreign S.S. Committee. Took supper with Kingsbury at Hoffman House. Off for home at 8. At home and retired at 1.45. Sent 11 S.S. letters and one other.
