(Norwich, Ct.) Up at 7.20. Bright day. Off for home at 8.50. Wrote on diary notes. Home at 11.30. Joiner at work on roof. After dinner book shelves came for upper room. Placed them. Sold paper, gas-pipes, and lead for tin-ware. Downtown with Johnny. Called at Prescott's, Phelps', Seidler's, etc. Spriking lawn with new hose. Sent three S.S. letters and one other. Balanced cash in evening. Talked with Johnny about his health. Took bath. Retired at 11.30. Dr. De Costa called in afternoon.
