(Hartford) Up at 8.30. Warm day. Thawing & raining. Worked on draft of circular appeal most of the forenoon. Downtown with Johnny after dinner. Called at Ger & Ponds, Skinner's, Case, Lookwood & Cox, bank, Fykes, Brown & Gross, etc. At Father's writing for some time. Making notes for Bible reading. Retired at 10.50 after visit to Father's with Alice.
