(Hartford) Up at 7.45. Wrote on sketch of Friend's Conference at Lynn. At Father's most of the day. Dined there. Mr. Reed came with Hitchcock's Analysis. Gave him recommendation of it. Father called on Parson Wilhains. Downtown with Johnny before tea and again in evening. Called at Courant office to see Boston papers. Retired at 11.40.
