(Hartford) Up about 8.15, with severe headache. Out to Camps in forenoon with Johnny to talk with Lizzie about dancing. Head aching all day. George Turnbull's funeral at 2.30pm. Tried work on concert exercise on "Christ Our Preserver". In evening out to tea at Sarah's with Alice & children. Met Robinson and Shipman there. At Father's until 11 o'clock. (Johnny's birthday. Surprise presents for him at breakfast table.) Retired at 11.30.
